Robert G. Calton III
Prior to founding Summit Park, Mr. Calton was a Partner at Wachovia Capital Partners (and its predecessor First Union Capital Partners) where he was responsible for investments in the manufacturing and service industries. Previously, he was a Managing Director and Shareholder at Bowles Hollowell Conner & Co., a leading middle market merger and acquisition advisory firm. Prior to attending graduate business school, he was in the investment banking division at Morgan Stanley & Co. in New York, NY and in the venture capital business at Morgan Stanley Research Ventures in San Francisco, CA. Mr. Calton is a graduate of Southern Methodist University and the Harvard Business School. Previously, Mr. Calton served as the Chairman of Sentry Security Systems, LLC and as a Director of Charter Brokerage Holdings, LLC, U.S. Salt Holdings, and KnowledgePlanet.

James L. Johnson, Jr.
Prior to founding Summit Park, Mr. Johnson was a Partner at Windward Capital Partners, a New York-based middle market private equity firm, where he was employed since the firm’s inception in 1995. As a Partner at Windward, he was instrumental in investing approximately $125 million of capital and achieving realized returns in excess of 2.2 times that amount. Prior to joining Windward, Mr. Johnson was in the media investment banking group at CS First Boston. In 1992, he graduated with honors from the Columbia Business School. From 1984 to 1990, he worked at BellSouth Corporation first as a Systems Analyst and later in National Account Sales. Mr. Johnson received his undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering and mathematics from Vanderbilt University. He served as Chairman of Charter Brokerage Holdings, LLC and as a Director of Pressure Systems, Inc., Retriever Payment Systems, Tycom Corporation, Adplex-Rhodes, Inc., eMag Solutions, LLC, Sentry Security Systems, LLC, and L. Powell Company.

Justin D. Lay
Prior to joining Summit Park, Mr. Lay worked at Thayer | Hidden Creek Partners, a Washington, D.C.-based lower middle market private equity firm, where he was responsible for sourcing and executing investments in the logistics, distribution, light manufacturing and outsourced business services sectors. Previously, he worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at Wachovia Securities, focusing primarily on building products, defense, aerospace and automotive clients. Prior to joining the M&A Group at Wachovia Securities, Mr. Lay was a member of the Media & Communications Investment Banking Group where he primarily structured recapitalization solutions for clients in a variety of industries. Prior to his investment banking experience with Wachovia Securities, Mr. Lay received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Richmond with concentrations in Finance and Marketing, and was a four-year member of the men's varsity basketball team, serving as Co-Captain his senior year. Mr. Lay has also served as a Director of Qualitor, Inc., a Board Observer of Total Quality, Inc., and was Co-Chair of DCPE, a Washington, D.C.-based association of private equity professionals.

Taylor P. Harrington

Prior to joining Summit Park in July 2010, Mr. Harrington was an Analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the Sports Investment Banking Group, focusing on debt financings and M&A for sports leagues, teams, cable networks and related entities.  Previously, he was an Analyst at Wachovia Securities in the Technology, Media, and Telecom Investment Banking Group.  A Blanchard Scholar, Mr. Harrington graduated with Distinction from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2007 where he earned a B.S. in Business Administration.

Nathan E. Zsolcsak

Prior to joining Summit Park, Mr. Zsolcsak was a Financial Analyst in Houlihan Lokey’s Industrials Group where he advised on M&A, financing and restructuring transactions in the metals, transportation and diversified industrials sectors.  Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Zsolcsak was as an Associate in the Audit and Assurance practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers in New York, NY.  Mr. Zsolcsak graduated with a B.S. and M.S. in Accountancy from the Wayne Calloway School of Business and Accountancy at Wake Forest University.  He is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of New York.
