Michelli Weighing & Measurement (“Michelli”), a portfolio company of Summit Park, is pleased to announce it has recapitalized Greenville Scale Company (“Greenville Scale”), a provider of industrial weighing services and equipment to a variety of industries across industrial, chemical, and automotive end markets. The partnership will enable Michelli to scale its existing operations in South Carolina and strengthen its presence throughout the region.
Headquartered outside of Greenville, South Carolina, Greenville Scale provides calibration, maintenance, repair and installation services, and equipment sales and rentals for heavy and medium capacity applications. The company operates a fleet of service and test trucks facilitating on-site repair and maintenance, test and calibration services, and installations. Greenville Scale primarily operates in the upstate region of South Carolina and dispatches technicians to serve clients in the midlands and south through Charleston.
Founded in 1947, Michelli Weighing & Measurement provides equipment sales, calibration, and repair services for a wide range of precision and industrial weighing systems. The partnership with Greenville Scale will strengthen Michelli’s technical expertise and service network to support a growing customer base nationwide. The transaction represents the fifth acquisition by Michelli since partnering with Summit Park in December of 2023.
