We are fundamentally growth investors, not financial engineers, and target companies that we believe offer the prospect of significant growth in profitability and cash flow – through revenue growth, cost containment, the implementation of improved information technology, better utilization of invested capital, or some combination of each.
Although we typically back capable and committed management teams, experience has shown us that the leadership of a smaller business is often incomplete. We eagerly accept the challenge of these situations and work with the existing team to identify, recruit, and retain skilled professionals where a management team needs to be enhanced or expanded.
